SnapBack Software Goes All-Microsoft
SnapBack to Cease development of Netware products with effect 22nd January 2002.
Lytham St Annes, Lancashire UK - January 22, 2002 - SnapBack, the leading provider of image backup and disaster recovery products for the Intel compatible market today announced the cessation of development of Netware products effective 22nd January 2002.
Our philosophy has always been to help our customers keep their applications running smoothly regardless of version. However, there comes a time when the majority of our customers have migrated to a Windows based Server Operating System then our development and support efforts must be focussed on that environment. Implementing fixes or enhancements for versions of operating systems that offer less and less return to the SnapBack customer community as a whole, draw resources from mainstream support issues. SnapBack customers are entitled to a policy that invests support and R&D resources where they will provide maximum benefit to the SnapBack community. With this in mind, SnapBack is formally announcing that we will be discontinuing R&D for Netware effective immediately and technical support for Netware effective 31st January 2003 for registered users. This will allow us to fully focus our resources on providing improved support for SnapBack for the Microsoft Windows family of products.
