Problem

This article refers to versions of SnapBack before 5.20a

You are mounting a tape using TapeDisk under Windows 2003 and are using a version of SnapBack before 5.20a When you go to open the drive in My Computer you receive the message "This disk is not formatted".

Cause

There is an issue when mounting a tape which has a Windows 2003 NTFS partition on it (FAT partitions work correctly) in this old version of SnapBack

Solution

Upgrade to SnapBack Exact 5.20a or higher which is fully compatible with Windows 2003
